The Reasons I focus on Iran

Hello, bloggers or viewers.  I know that I might not have anyone who reads this blog.  However, when I look into my audiences I do see that some people do read it.

I want to tell you why I focus on Iran. The reason I am so into the country is because they are a fascinating country. Many Americans do not care about the country much less Americans just do not care about the world.  Unless, there is a popular movement going on and that is the only time you see Americans caring about the outside world.  Furthermore, the majority of the people are not conservative like the government.  The majority are moderates and they support having more freedoms of individuals like the ability to let their voices be heard without fearing arrest or being disappeared by the government.

Also majority of these people try to access western concepts, ideas, materials, and all sorts of stuff.  The government is opposed because they believe it will dilute the culture, the religion, and the power of the government.  I can see his point, but it does not mean that it is right. Ayatollah Khamenei fears globalization affecting Iran and causing the people to divert from Islam.  However, they are eventually going to have to learn to accept modernization while keeping their old ways.

Lastly, I believe that I am the voice of the people for the Iranians.  I want to educate Americans that not all Iranians are conservative and they are a very interesting group  of people with amazing morals and culture values.

Iranians yearn to be heard by the government and the world.  They want more freedoms that are denied to them by the government.
