Israel and Hamas are getting into it again and it is escalating pretty fast after three days. I hope that things will simmer down, but that will be unlikely.
My issue is not what about is going between them, it is really about the background work that provoked this. So now you probably have an idea as to why I posted this in my Iran blog instead of my other blog.
I believe that Iran has something to do with this sudden attack by Hamas. I think that Iran is funding Hamas and supplying them, we all know that Iranian leaders have threatened to send Hezbollah to attack Israel, but I think that they are using Hamas. They are using Hamas to distract Israel from its plans to attack Iran and to keep Israel busy for a bit. Also Hamas picked a ripe time to attack, during Israel's election and Palestine trying to get recognized as a state in the United Nations. I personally believe Iran is behind this, surprisingly they have not made many comments, I believe that they are up to something.
I hope that leaders will and intelligence will make a connection because I think that Hamas made a deal with Iran to attack Israel. They would likely have received money and weapons.

Air Defense Drills
Iran is conducting war games to make sure that the quality of the airforce is good and introducing new domestic technology that will enable them to protect themselves against possible threats. I do not know if we should be concerned, but I have a feeling that they know they will likely be attacked in the near future. If Israel and Iran would just talk things out, I am pretty sure that war will not occur. Also Iran will need to prove that they are not building nuclear weapons in order to feel secure. I do believe that Iran having a nuclear weapons could be a problem because the leaders are the radicals that helped overthrow the Shah in 1979. They were the ones that did not want society to modernize because they believe that Islam is not compatible with modernization. I think the US and Israel do have the right to worry and the rest of the middle east is worried too.
Iran is stepping on thin ice at the moment because they are going to have alliance issues. China and Russia are not going to save their butts if Israel attacks and Syria is in a civil war. They do have a couple allies, but I do not think that is going to be enough for them to defeat two strong militaries.

Iran Fired on U.S. Drone
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324439804578107191429662874.html?mod=WSJ_hpp_LEFTTopStories
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Iran fired upon a U.S. Drone while it was in international waters. I think Iran is testing the U.S. out to see if they would be willing to go to war if Israel is planning on it. They are trying to test the theory of "Paper Tiger." "Paper Tiger" means that a country or a group of people claim that if something does happen to them that they will attack, but when they are attacked there is no action. The leaders are testing out like Osama bin Laden did when he attacked the U.S.. He thought that the U.S. was going to send cruise misslies after September 11th because that is what Clinton did after we were attacked overseas and the U.S. did nothing when the U.S.S. Cole was attacked, but that is because they did not know that it was Al-Qaeda at the time.
George Little claims that the the attack was not revealed to the public because the drone was doing classified work, but I do not think that is the truth. I think the truth is that it was political, contrary to what Mr. Little says, because the election was only 5 days away. They did not want to deviate from the election. Iran clearly wants to test U.S. response and they might be trying to show that they are match to the U.S. if a war is going to occur.
Who knows what is going to happen in the next year. All I know is that Israel is likely going to attack, they will be doing the Middle East a favor because they are going to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear state. The countries in the Middle East some openly and some in secret do not want Iran to have nukes because the country is ran by extremists.

Election Day
Election Day has arrived, Americans are going out to vote on who should be the next President, there is a chance that if either candidate wins that it will be by a big margin. If Obama wins than he is probably going to work a little harder with the Republicans and if Romney wins he knows that he is going to have to work hard to get re-elected.
Oh yeah if some of you are curious as to why I am posting this in my Iranian blog it is because this election is going to be important to the leaders of Iran. I bet that they have some of their underlyings watching the election for them because this will determine how we are going to respond to Iran.
Iran might want Obama to win because they might believe that he is not going to act militarily against Iran if Israel were to attack. They probably do not want Romney to win because they know from the Bush Administrations and Reagan Administration that they are going to take a hardline against Iran if they do not comply and will likely defend Israel according to the treaty between the two if Israel is attacked. However, Obama might just take a hardline as well, knowing that he did order troops to begin war games with Israel to make sure they are trained.
Iranian leadership has probably got some kind of stake on this election besides Americans.
For my facebook friends I know I said I was going to stay off it, but this is the only time I will be posting and actually going on there.

War is Going to Happen
Diplomacy has already failed with Iran, but the public is not going to realize that until after the Presidential Election. Obama knows that diplomacy has failed and the only course of action left is going to be war. Obama five months ago did not even state that military action is going to be possible, but now he has began to say it. Every time he needs to speak about Iran he mentions that military action is possible. Now there are talks in the Congress to prevent the military budget reduction from taking place in 2013. Obama will support the prevention of the military budget from taking place. It seems that bases are testing more and more, the base by my house is testing a bit more than usual.
Iran needs to recognize that they cannot possibly fight against Israel and the United States at the same time. Hezbollah is not going to get far when it attacks Israel. Israel can handle the terrorist organization quite easily. Iran better be ready for a real battle and hopefully their people rise up against the Ayatollah during the possible war.

Iran Threatens to Attack U.S. Military Bases
Iran says that they are going to attack US military bases if Israel and Iran go into a war. They are sure that Israel is going to have support from the US. First of all I do not think that Iran is capable of fighting a war with Iran and Israel. Now I know that some of you are going to compare this war with Afghanistan and Iraq, but they are totally different from Iran. In those countries we are fighting terrorists that are not state run military. They do not have planes and they do not have certain military capabilities as normal military. Iran cannot face two powerful countries alone. They are going to need support from another country. We know that they are going to use Hezabollah to attack Israsel, but Israel can handle them.
Iran is threatening the US in which they have the most powerful military in the world. Ayatollah Khamenei and his military leaders know that the minute a US base is attacked we can launch planes off an aircraft carrier in less than a minute and attack. So they better be careful. Syria is not going to be able to aid them because they are currently fighting rebels at the minute.
I guess war is inevitable with Iran. Iran thinks that they can handle the US and Israel at the same time, I think that they are sadly mistaken. Oh yeah, lets not forget what is going on in Iran. Reformers are going to take the opportunity to rise up again against the government while the are fighting. So there is a chance that the people of Iran might lose their government during the war. Those people are anxious for more freedom and to have a voice.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Quite the Hypocrite
http://news.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981601311
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei quite the hypocrite these days. He praises the Occupy Protestors here in America. However, he continues to suppress his people more and more every single day because he knows that they are suffering. While he and the elite are not suffering from the sanctions, the rest of the population is suffering. He praises them for fighting against the wealth, but he is a wealthy man himself. His people are hurting from the sanctions while they hog the resources that are in the nation. They give the leftover resources to the people which is not enough for them.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has the internet shut down and cell phone services cut if he feels that there is going to be a protest or a big movement of people. Many Iranians are supporting the rebels in Syria at the moment, but we as Americans do not know that much because Khamenei and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad make sure the news is censored, so that the western world does not know that there country is slowly deteriorating. The Iranian population gets more and more restless every single day, month, and year. The reform movements cannot elect their own people into office because of voter fraud, lack of the ability to compete, and their leaders being put into jail.
I think that it is quite hilarious that he can support protests happening in another nation because he does not like them. I probably bet he hid the fact that he supported the Occupy Movement in the United States from his people so that they do not get any ideas.
Believe it or not the majority of the people in Iran are suffering because of the sanctions, the Iranian Government is attempting to keep it quiet. The reason is obvious because if the American Government knows that they are suffering they will attempt to aid anyone that wants to rebel. However, the government likely knows to some degree that the people are restless and that something will happen in the future.
Honestly, Iranian Government is likely going to get into some trouble either with its own people or outside nations. It all depends on who is going to act first out of the two options. There is a potential that the United States and Israel will attempt to hold off, just to see what the Iranian population might do to the government. I really hope the Iranian Reform Parties grow in strength to make changes happen in their country.

Iranian Dress Code
This post is going to be based off an article that I have read from the Washing Post called "Struggle Over what to Wear in Iran":
This summary of the article covers the enforcement of the dress code in Iran and why the government sees the enforcement of the Hijab necessary because it is a national security threat and a threat to Islamic values.
The problem in Iran stems from the government, just like we have some of our problems from the government. The government is losing support because they are tired of being forced to practice Iranian and/or Islamic ways. The government is making the people want to push away from the Qur'an and the religion itself. For example, I know a few people that were raised Catholic, but the religious practices in the Church that made them want to get away from the religion. Some will come back to the religion in time. The Iranian Government does not understand that they are pushing the people away from the government and the Islamic faith. The Iranian government does not realize that there is a middle ground. The people could embrace the Islamic values at the same time and embrace the modern times. People that follow the Islamic belief do it all the time in the United States and in Europe. However, there is another problem with Iran is that they are making vague sentences in the Qur'an into more specific ones. On the other hand, people that follow the Bible do it too.
The problem with what is considered Islamic practice in the Qur'an could be interpreted differently. The Qur'an is just like the Bible, some of it could be interpreted in many different ways. The part in the Qur'an that says that men and women have to be modestly dressed is vague (I will add a quote from the Qur'an I forgot to bring it today). I have read the Qur'an and it is just like the Bible, it could be taken out of context.
Iran get it together, western forces are not going to destroy the nation, you will destroy it yourself by alienating your people. The United State is not promoting improper hijab wear, the Iranian people want more freedom. They are tired of being treated like children, they want to be treated like adults and that means making their own decisions.
On a side note, I am not criticizing the use of the hijab because people in America wear them and I am not criticizing the Islamic faith. I just feel that the Iranian Government is becoming out of touch with reality.

"End of Times" According to Ayatollah Khamenei
http://www.wnd.com/2012/07/iran-leader-we-must-prep-for-end-of-times/?cat_orig=world
This article basically talks about how Ayatollah Khamenei is telling Muslims across the world that it is time for them to prepare for the end of times. That it is time that all the Muslims get ready for a battle and to take out Israel and all the infidels. Honestly, this guy must be high, do you honestly think that your people are going to back behind you because you want to kill all the infidels? Majority of the people do not like the regime and our tired of the way you treat them. You ban them from watching certain TV shows because you think that it will keep them pure and away from the world of the infidels. Ayatollah Khamenei do you not understand that the people behind closed doors drink alcohol and do other things that the Revolutionary Guard cannot see?
I am surprised that the US is not responding to this situation a little faster, but then again it is an election year. Career politicians are worried about keeping their elected positions then do something about what is about to happen. So we have moved a couple warships, what is this Battle Ship? Israel and US stop sitting on your hands and get it together. Find something to do to appease the Iranians for a time being so that you can find a way to find out what they are doing! I have a feeling that they are making nukes and the US does want Americans to do it, they try to only show a narrow spotlight on the situation. The US Navy is hiring, that is how much they are showing the Americans and oh lets not forget the Air Force, they are hiring too.
What a wonderful time to cut the Defense Budget President Obama. Intervention is likely the only option to deal with Iran. Get your head on straight, no matter who wins this stupid election they are going to have to deal with. Personally, I think Iran purposely chose this year to let it be known that they are developing Nukes because they know that the US is having a crucial election.

Counter-Attack from Iran
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/world/2012-06/30/c_131686843.htm
So I decided to do my daily check up on Iran as usual and found this to be somewhat interesting, Iran says that if they are attacked that they are going to do a counterattack. Okay so I do not think that the world was expecting Iran to sit on their hands while Israel attacks them and do nothing. I think the world expects them to attack back, but the question is how effective would their attack be? That is probably the main point of the article. They say that they are prepared to attack in different ways and can do multiple versions of attack. Israel is pretty powerful so I honestly do not know how they are going to fair. If Iran decides to attack in Tel Aviv with missiles it will be pointless because they have a very effective missile defense system. They have been attacked by multiple countries at one time and defeated them so I think they will be ready. Are your troops well equipped and are you well equipped to defeat them?
I guess we will be finding out soon enough.

Iran Increasing Military Presence
The article above basically states that Iran is going to build more ships. To be specific they are planning on building more destroyers and missile launching ships (obviously I am not a ship person or part of the Navy). Anyways, Iran claims that they are building these ships to protect there economic interests and the cargoes of oil from Somalia Pirates in international waters. Honestly, I hope President Obama and the rest of the world take note of this action and watch them very carefully. Especially, since Iran has decided to suspend talks with Israel and they will be glad to bock the Strait of Hormuz if they are attacked. Not like the US has too much to worry about since 18% of our oil comes from the Middle East or mainly Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia will not be too happy if Israel attacks because that means revenue will go down, but they are probably going to hope that Iran will resume talks.
I really hope that Obama begins to think about the actions that he is going to have to take if he is reelected because whoever is president is going to have to think fast and get the military ready. The United States is not going to be fighting with Israel against Iran, but they are going to have to protect ships and interests if a war is going to occur. Also Iran might mine the strait so they are going to have send in minesweepers to prevent ships from being blown up or submarines.
I hope that are leaders are ready for whatever Iran is about to throw at the world, the US, and Israel. People will likely just ignore it, but when things go up in flames don't say that you were not warned. Like I said before Israel and Iran already had issues and it is no surprise that they are threatening war.

Iran Hopes Yemen's Political Parties all Participate in the Government
http://www.tehrantimes.com/politics/98136-iran-condemns-suicide-bombing-in-yemen-
So Iran has some real nerve to encourage peace and cooperation in Yemen. Yeah suicide bombing and deaths are terrible, the people in Iran will not even tempt doing any of that because the government has a tight leash on its people. The Foreign Minister wants them to have "stability, security, and unity." However, they cannot even do that in their country. Iran has the second highest arrest rate for journalists in their country just under China. Also we do not even know how many political prisoners they have in their jails at the moment. I know that the leader of one of the reform parties is in House Arrest at the moment. So they are a bunch of hypocrites.
They want Yemen to let the political parties be free to participate, but they do not follow that in Iran. Yeah good job at being a hypocrite. I hope the reform parties in Iran can try to gain some strength in the coming elections and take the conservatives and the populist parties out of control in Iran .

Iran Desires the Ability to Make Nukes
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/15/us-iran-nuclear-execution-idUSBRE84E09F20120515
Iran wants to have the capability to make nuclear weapons. If you read the full article you will catch the line. The question is do you think that they are the right ones to have possesion of nuclear weapons? I think that President Ahmadinejad and Khamenei will want to enact a full scale war on any country that is not Islamic. On the other hand, they will kill people that do practice their own faith in the process. I think that it will be scary to let Iran to be able to develop nukes.
Furthermore, a couple of months ago Ahmadinejad was claiming that the nuclear development was for non-weapon use. Now they are not afraid to openly admit that they are doing it because the United States is not going to do anything and the United Nations is not going to do anything. It is very scary to think that a nation that is ran by some crazy people will have possession of nukes. Maybe, Israel is going to be our only hope to stop the development. I am not surprise that Israel has Mossad agents working to assassinate scientists, Israel has some reason to be very afraid of Iran. Iran has been threatening them for a long time and I do not think that they will be afraid to attack Israel if they could.
In the coming months we will find out what happens with the development of their nukes. Obama and the Congress need to stop worrying about getting reelected because that should not matter as much. Instead the lives of possibly millions of people is at risk if they develop their nukes. American politicians are so worried about reelection that they put things off until the situation gets worse. We need to act before they have full capability to develop. We cannot appease Iran because Ahmadinejad hates anything western and to him it does not matter who runs America he will hate us.
We need to find a solution to the problems with Iran.
If any politicians read this, I would suggest that you stop reelection and do what you think is right for the nation. You have made being a Congressman or woman a career and that is hurting the American people.
Also if there is any Iranian politicians reading this at all, I hope that you begin to think about the hell that will be unleashed upon you for trying to develop nukes because you will pay the price if you try to attack anyone. I understand that some of you want the world to become completely Islamic, but that is never going to happen just like my religion will not rule the world either. If you attack any nations you will be killing your fellows Muslims and that is wrong.

Iran Parliamentary Elections
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/may/05/iran-election-results-mahmoud-ahmadinejad?CMP=twt_gu
Iran recently had a parliamentary elections and the conservative party that supports Ayatollah Ali Khamenei 20 of the 65 seats. President Ahmadinejad party only winning 8 seats and the Independents winning 11 seats. The rest of the seats are yet to be determined. On the other hand, for the current results none of the reform parties put up any candidates. So the question is which of the two is the lesser of two evils Ahmadinejad or Ayatollah Ali Khamenei?
So I think that I would have to pick Ahmadinejad at the moment. He actually considered a "populist" in Iran and then you have the extreme conservative Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. They both have similarities they hate the United States (another group of people hating my country...big surprise (sarcasm)). They both attempt to get rid of any "soft" power from the United States or anything that is western. My main issue is that since the reform parties really have no chance at winning a majority of the seats then I guess people would have to pick Ahmadinejad. He is "suppose" to be less extreme then Khamenei.
On the other hand, if Ahmadinejad had not suppressed the reform parties that oppose him then they would have put up candidates. However, they could not put up candidate because they are all in jail. The major leaders of the parties are also in jail. Also the journalists that support them get put into jail and if they try to make contact with anyone in the United States then the connection fails.
I attempted to contact a news reporting company in Iran and we started our communications and then they stopped. I think that either I was talking to a government spy or they had intercepted the email or both. So the government is successfully making sure the opposition does not say or fight anymore against the government. Ahmadinejad has made sure that the leaders were arrested before the elections.
I guess Ahmadinejad is better than Khamenei, but I still do not like the guy and I cannot wait till he gets out of power.

Iran
So I have decided that Iran deserves its own blog because I spend so much time reading news that come from there and I am interested in how the people are fairing under the rule of Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Also how the reform parties and the people participating in the reform movement are fairing. I think that Iran is very interesting because they people want the country to change and modernize, but the leaders are trying their best to stop the modernization.
One of the reasons is because of the "soft" power that comes from United States. "Soft Power" means that when cultural ideas or practices and other things that are not military power or political begin to influence the way people think. For example, Ahmadinejad told the people that they could no longer celebrate Valentines Day and banned the sell of Valentine items because it is a western tradition and it is against the practices of Islam.
Anyways, I feel that I need to create a blog devoted to Iran. Hopefully, people will read it. Thank you so much!
