Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Quite the Hypocrite

http://news.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981601311

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei quite the hypocrite these days. He praises the Occupy Protestors here in America.  However, he continues to suppress his people more and more every single day because he knows that they are suffering.  While he and the elite are not suffering from the sanctions, the rest of the population is suffering.  He praises them for fighting against the wealth, but he is a wealthy man himself. His people are hurting from the sanctions while they hog the resources that are in the nation.  They give the leftover resources to the people which is not enough for them.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has the internet shut down and cell phone services cut if he feels that there is going to be a protest or a big movement of people.  Many Iranians are supporting the rebels in Syria at the moment, but we as Americans do not know that much because Khamenei and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad make sure the news is censored, so that the western world does not know that there country is slowly deteriorating.  The Iranian population gets more and more restless every single day, month, and year.  The reform movements cannot elect their own people into office because of voter fraud, lack of the ability to compete, and their leaders being put into jail.

I think that it is quite hilarious that he can support protests happening in another nation because he does not like them.  I probably bet he hid the fact that he supported the Occupy Movement in the United States from his people so that they do not get any ideas.

Believe it or not the majority of the people in Iran are suffering because of the sanctions, the Iranian Government is attempting to keep it quiet.  The reason is obvious because if the American Government knows that they are suffering they will attempt to aid anyone that wants to rebel. However, the government likely knows to some degree that the people are restless and that something will happen in the future.

Honestly, Iranian Government is likely going to get into some trouble either with its own people or outside nations.  It all depends on who is going to act first out of the two options.  There is a potential that the United States and Israel will attempt to hold off, just to see what the Iranian population might do to the government.  I really hope the Iranian Reform Parties grow in strength to make changes happen in their country.
