Iran Hopes Yemen's Political Parties all Participate in the Government

http://www.tehrantimes.com/politics/98136-iran-condemns-suicide-bombing-in-yemen-

So Iran has some real nerve to encourage peace and cooperation in Yemen.  Yeah suicide bombing and deaths are terrible, the people in Iran will not even tempt doing any of that because the government has a tight leash on its people.  The Foreign Minister wants them to have "stability, security, and unity."  However, they cannot even do that in their country.  Iran has the second highest arrest rate for journalists in their country just under China.  Also we do not even know how many political prisoners they have in their jails at the moment.  I know that the leader of one of the reform parties is in House Arrest at the moment.  So they are a bunch of hypocrites.

They want Yemen to let the political parties be free to participate, but they do not follow that in Iran.  Yeah good job at being a hypocrite. I hope the reform parties in Iran can try to gain some strength in the coming elections and take the conservatives and the populist parties out of control in Iran .

Iran Desires the Ability to Make Nukes

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/15/us-iran-nuclear-execution-idUSBRE84E09F20120515

Iran wants to have the capability to make nuclear weapons. If you read the full article you will catch the line.  The question is do you think that they are the right ones to have possesion of nuclear weapons?  I think that President Ahmadinejad and Khamenei will want to enact a full scale war on any country that is not Islamic.  On the other hand, they will kill people that do practice their own faith in the process.  I think that it will be scary to let Iran to be able to develop nukes.

Furthermore, a couple of months ago Ahmadinejad was claiming that the nuclear development was for  non-weapon use.  Now they are not afraid to openly admit that they are doing it because the United States is not going to do anything and the United Nations is not going to do anything. It is very scary to think that a nation that is ran by some crazy people will have possession of nukes. Maybe, Israel is going to be our only hope to stop the development.  I am not surprise that Israel has Mossad agents working to assassinate scientists, Israel has some reason to be very afraid of Iran.  Iran has been threatening them for a long time and I do not think that they will be afraid to attack Israel if they could.

In the coming months we will find out what happens with the development of their nukes.  Obama and the Congress need to stop worrying about getting reelected because that should not matter as much.  Instead the lives of possibly millions of people is at risk if they develop their nukes.  American politicians are so worried about reelection that they put things off until the situation gets worse.  We need to act before they have full capability to develop.  We cannot appease Iran because Ahmadinejad hates anything western and to him it does not matter who runs America he will hate us.

We need to find a solution to the problems with Iran.

If any politicians read this, I would suggest that you stop reelection and do what you think is right for the nation.  You have made being a Congressman or woman a career and that is hurting the American people.

Also if there is any Iranian politicians reading this at all, I hope that you begin to think about the hell that will be unleashed upon you for trying to develop nukes because you will pay the price if you try to attack anyone.  I understand that some of you want the world to become completely Islamic, but that is never going to happen just like my religion will not rule the world either.  If you attack any nations you will be killing your fellows Muslims and that is wrong.

Iran Parliamentary Elections

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/may/05/iran-election-results-mahmoud-ahmadinejad?CMP=twt_gu

Iran recently had a parliamentary elections and the conservative party that supports Ayatollah Ali Khamenei 20 of the 65 seats.  President Ahmadinejad party only winning 8 seats and the Independents winning 11 seats.   The rest of the seats are yet to be determined.  On the other hand, for the current results none of the reform parties put up any candidates.  So the question is which of the two is the lesser of two evils Ahmadinejad or Ayatollah Ali Khamenei?

So I think that I would have to pick Ahmadinejad at the moment.  He actually considered a "populist" in Iran and then you have the extreme conservative Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.  They both have similarities they hate the United States (another group of people hating my country...big surprise (sarcasm)).  They both attempt to get rid of any "soft" power from the United States or anything that is western.  My main issue is that since the reform parties really have no chance at winning a majority of the seats then I guess people would have to pick Ahmadinejad.  He is "suppose" to be less extreme then Khamenei.

On the other hand, if Ahmadinejad had not suppressed the reform parties that oppose him then they would have put up candidates.  However, they could not put up candidate because they are all in jail.  The major leaders of the parties are also in jail. Also the journalists that support them get put into jail and if they try to make contact with anyone in the United States then the connection fails.

I attempted to contact a news reporting company in Iran and we started our communications and then they stopped.  I think that either I was talking to a government spy or they had intercepted the email or both.  So the government is successfully making sure the opposition does not say or fight anymore against the government.  Ahmadinejad has made sure that the leaders were arrested before the elections.

I guess Ahmadinejad is better than Khamenei, but I still do not like the guy and I cannot wait till he gets out of power.

Iran

So I have decided that Iran deserves its own blog because I spend so much time reading news that come from there and I am interested in how the people are fairing under the rule of Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.  Also how the reform parties and the people participating in the reform movement are fairing.  I think that Iran is very interesting because they people want the country to change and modernize, but the leaders are trying their best to stop the modernization.

One of the reasons is because of the "soft" power that comes from United States.  "Soft Power" means that when cultural ideas or practices and other things that are not military power or political begin to influence the way people think.  For example, Ahmadinejad told the people that they could no longer celebrate Valentines Day and banned the sell of Valentine items because it is a western tradition and it is against the practices of Islam.

Anyways, I feel that I need to create a blog devoted to Iran.  Hopefully, people will read it.  Thank you so much!
